Be prepared 

You’ll need more than just your wallet when shopping with your dog. Remember to pack a leash, poop bags, water, treats and any other handy supplies that might be helpful.  A quick 10-minute walk before entering the store can also help make accidents less likely.

Practice courtesy

Before encountering other people and dogs in the store, ensure your dog is friendly and well socialized. Even if your dog is friendly, it’s important to remember that not all dogs are. You should only let your dog greet other dogs if given permission by their owner. 

Keep your dog on a leash
